For last-place SCPB ’22, a visit to leader Kolping Boys was on the program on Saturday. Only a win was enough to postpone relegation for another week. In the end, the Badhoevedorpers took a nice point, but the descent to the second division was a fact.

Mo Ettouhlali had already given the leader the lead within ten minutes. In the rest of the first half, Kolping Boys had more than enough opportunities to increase their lead. Lars Ruppert van der Voort in particular had several chances with a number of headers.

But the home team did not really press on and thus played into the hands of SCPB ’22. That managed to put the 1-1 on the scoreboard five minutes before the end via Bilal El Hajoui El Jaafari. Despite the point, the team has now been officially relegated. The AGB did manage to provide a service. The Amsterdam team seemed to have eliminated themselves from the title race in recent weeks. But Kolping Boys’ draw against SCPB ’22 could make things exciting again.
