Schools go all out in the macro-regional stage of school sports

Competition was inaugurated in Arequipa with the participation of nearly 1,600 students

The macro-regional stage of the School Sports and Para-sports Games, which will be held in Arequipa, was inaugurated yesterday at the Melgar stadium. It also brings together educational institutions from the regions of Tacna, Moquegua and Puno. The Regional Education Office of Arequipa will organize this phase until Friday, September 20.

More than 1,600 students will participate in the categories “A” (10 to 12 years), “B” (13 and 14 years) and “C” (15 to 17 years) and in the disciplines of athletics, para-athletics, chess, swimming, table tennis, judo, handball, futsal, football, basketball and volleyball.

The champions will qualify for the National stage, which will take place between October 12 and 20 in Lima.
