Summer Fun Awaits in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
Get ready to enjoy the great outdoors this summer, residents of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu! The city has launched an exciting initiative, partnering with Montérégie sport to provide free sports and recreational equipment in four local parks.
What’s on Offer?
From July 5 onwards, you can borrow a wide variety of sports equipment for free, including:
- Soccer and basketball balls
- Badminton sets
- Scooters and skipping ropes
- Fun skill games like giant Jenga, Spikeball, and Finnish skittles
Parks and Schedule
The initiative is deployed in four parks across the city:
- Alphonse-Lorrain Park (Laurier and Saint-Georges streets)
- Center-de-Flein-Air-Ronald-Beauregard (93, rue Towner)
- Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Park (rue Plaza)
- La Joie-de-Vivre Park (Quadrilateral of the Jacques-Cartier Sud streets, Smith, Bernard and Pierre-Desranleau)

Presented by Circumflex – Ready to Move, a provincial project financially supported by the government of Quebec, this initiative aims to encourage citizens to lead active and healthy lifestyles while enjoying the city’s green spaces.
