<p>Professional baseball's resurgence in South Korea has had an unexpected yet welcome effect on local economies – a significant boost in restaurant sales near stadiums on game days.</p>
<p>Korea Credit Data's analysis of card sales at eateries within a 1.5km radius of nine baseball stadiums found that average daily sales during home games <strong>increased by up to 19%</strong> compared to away game periods. The sales surge aligns with this year's season setting a new record for spectator attendance.</p>
