Modern Facelift for Este’s Iconic Sports Venue

The wait is over for Este’s sports enthusiasts! The Ghilardi gym has undergone a comprehensive renovation and is now ready to welcome students and sports clubs in a safer, more modern, and inviting environment.

Safety First: Structural Reinforcement and Moisture Control

• Dywidag bars have been inserted to reinforce the gym’s roof structure, enhancing its safety.
• Walls in the gym and changing rooms have been repaired, and injections have been used to prevent further moisture issues.

Improved Functionality and Aesthetics

• Resistant plasterboard has been added to the main gym, encouraging better ventilation.
• The entire complex has been painted and fitted with battiscopa.
• Linoleum flooring has been laid in some portions of the gym.

Good news for our city! With the conclusion of the works, the Ghilardi gym returns available to students, sports clubs and the whole community, in a safer, modern and welcoming space.
Sport is a fundamental educational and social value: investing in structures like this means investing not only in the well-being of athletes of all ages, but above all in the future of Este.
