A tremendous result for the O’Higgins region was the one scored by Clarita Vivar and Miguel Quilodrán in the World Racquetball Championship recently held in Guatemala.

The athlete from the area, Clarita Vivar, achieved a notable performance in the World Youth Racquetball Championship, recently held in Guatemala.

With the participation of 25 countries, the player won the bronze medal in Doubles Ladies 16 years, along with Catalina Guzmán, a historic medal for the discipline at the national level.

For his part, Miguel Quilodrán, together with Patricio Gatica, achieved gold in Doubles A, beating pairs from the United States, Ecuador and Costa Rica.

The goal for racquetball players in the region is to be able to travel with a greater number of players for the 2025 World Cup, which will take place in the Dominican Republic. Likewise, Quilodrán thanked the support of the IND and the MINDEP O’Higgins, as well as the Regional Government because with GORE resources it was possible to manage Vivar’s participation in this international competition.
