Recently, Craig Tiley, the director of the Australian Open, ⁤made a forceful‌ statement confirming Nadal’s presence in the tournament, causing a wave ⁤of surprise among fans and experts.

In response to Tiley’s ‌statement, Nadal expressed his ‍surprise ⁤during‌ an interview with Agencia EFE. He acknowledged his good relationship with ‍Tiley and understood the ‌excitement surrounding the Australian Open. Nadal ⁤further⁤ explained his ⁢reasoning, stating, “Setting dates and not⁢ being able to meet them only adds‍ unnecessary disappointments, and I have‌ already ​experienced enough disappointments in‌ terms of sports and physical setbacks. So, I prefer not to ‌set any specific dates and focus​ on my day-to-day progress⁢ and improvement.”
