  • Ariadna Chávez from Tulum claimed the national champion title in the women’s 70kg category. “It was a tough fight, but I always believed in my abilities,” Chávez said after winning the gold.
  • Naomi Dubai Cardona, also from Tulum, climbed to the top of the podium in the women’s 52kg division. “This win is dedicated to my home state and everyone who supported me,” Cardona stated.
