Pukyong National University Opens Sports Facilities to Busan Community
Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) in Busan, South Korea, is expanding access to its athletic resources, opening its sports facilities to local residents. The initiative aims to strengthen the university’s social responsibility and foster collaboration with the surrounding community.
Pilot Program and Official Launch
Starting next month, the university will begin a pilot program to test the opening of its sports facilities. The university plans to address any issues identified during the March-May trial period and officially launch the program in June.
“We expect that this expansion of the opening of sports facilities will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the public role of national universities and further cooperate with the local community,”
Shin Jong-dae, Director of Pukyong National University’s Sports Promotion Institute
