The Emilia Romagna Kata Grand Prix took place yesterday in Castel Maggiore (BO), which saw the participation of over 90 couples from all over the peninsula. For Puglia, the couple formed by Giuseppe Maraschio (Judo Kodokan Poggiardo) and Lucio Luceri (Judo Club Olimpia Lizzanello) participated in the Kodokan Goshin Jutsu A2, who in their first experience together won a splendid gold medal performing in a impeccable execution.

Also present was the international referee Luigi Zito who officiated the competition as a summoned judge. Our region thus returns to the top of Kata competitions, defeating fierce competition made up of proven pairs, a flattering result that gives us hope for the future.
