On April 6, 2024, Barmstedt experienced the penultimate matchday of the first Powerchair Football Bundesliga season 23/24. Six committed teams delivered a spectacular performance in eight exciting matches.
Power Lions Dresden vs. Torpedo Ladenburg:
The Power Lions Dresden continued their impressive winning streak and dominated Torpedo Ladenburg with a clear 9-0, repeating their success from the first half of the season.
Power Cats Dresden vs. Knights Barmstedt:
The Power Cats Dresden, who had already suffered a heavy defeat against the Knights Barmstedt in the first half of the season, lost again clearly with 1:5.
Bonner SC/White Sharks vs. Munich Sharks:
Despite the fact that the Bonner SC/White Sharks only had three players, they stood up to the Munich Sharks but lost 3:5.
Power Lions Dresden vs. Power Cats Dresden:
The Power Lions Dresden prevailed again and won convincingly 6:1 against the Power Cats.
Torpedo Ladenburg vs. Knights Barmstedt:
In contrast to their previous performance where they beat the Knights in the first half of the season, Torpedo Ladenburg lost 0-2 this time. This shows a decline in the Knights’ form compared to the first half of the season.
Munich Sharks vs. Power Lions Dresden:
The Power Lions Dresden maintained their dominant form and clearly defeated the Munich Sharks 8-0.
Power Cats Dresden vs. Torpedo Ladenburg:
In a close match, Torpedo Ladenburg kept the upper hand and won 1-0, repeating their win from the first half of the season against the Power Cats.
Knights Barmstedt vs. Bonner SC/White Sharks:
The Knights Barmstedt demonstrated their strength with an overwhelming 12-1 win against the weakened Bonner SC/White Sharks.
In the 1st Powerchair Football Bundesliga season 23/24, the Knights Barmstedt and the Power Lions Dresden have established themselves as clear leaders after three match days, both with
an impressive 21 points. While the Power Lions have a dominant goal difference of +57, the Knights are also showing strong performances at +31.
In midfield, Torpedo Ladenburg is fighting for connection with 10 points and a negative goal difference of -11, followed by the Munich Sharks, who are struggling despite 9 points with a goal difference of -21. The Power Cats Dresden are with 6 points, just ahead of the Bonner SC/White Sharks, who are at the bottom of the table with just one point and a goal difference of -34.
This season clearly shows the challenges and strengths of the teams. While the leaders demonstrate their superiority, the others struggle to improve, especially the teams at the bottom of the table who still need to collect points in the final matchdays to improve their positions.
