Once the Endesa League final concludes, Nikola Mirotic will bid farewell to FC Barcelona, and his next destination could potentially shift the balance of power in the EuroLeague. As one of the continent’s top players, his free agency has attracted the attention of not only the usual powerhouses but also teams from Serbia and Greece.

While there were reports of an agreement between Mirotic and Armani Milan, both the player and the Italian club have denied it. However, Eurohoops sources confirm that there have been discussions between Mirotic’s representatives and Olimpia, as well as AS Monaco, who are in need of a skilled reinforcement.

Rumors have also emerged that Red Star may offer Mirotic a salary of €2.7 million for the upcoming season, which is roughly the amount Facundo Campazzo would earn if he stayed in Belgrade. However, there is currently no official offer on the table, as the Serbian team has not yet been confirmed as a EuroLeague participant.

It is expected that both Partizan and Crvena Zvezda will be part of the competition. Zeljko Obradovic’s team is also interested in the Spanish-Montenegrin power forward, as his decision to move elsewhere would not be solely based on financial reasons.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos may consider pursuing Mirotic if Sasha Vezenkov departs for the NBA. With the appointment of Ergin Ataman as head coach, Panathinaikos is also actively looking to make a significant move in order to restore the club’s former glory.
