The Arzelliz tennis section held its meeting on Saturday December 14, 2024, at the Moulin-Neuf clubhouse, in Ploudalmézeau. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Maurice Guyader, in the presence of the mayor, Marguerite Lamour, Pierre Corbeau, his deputy director of sports, and in the presence of ten members. The team currently has 39 members, full-time employees.
Five teams competed in the 2023-2024 season: two senior men’s teams, one women’s team and two youth teams, one for girls and one for boys.
“The young people were very good”
“Recognize the success of the newly formed senior women’s team, which finished third in its D3 tournament. The young people were very good. Boys and girls finished first in their divisions. The boys were Finistère champions and the girls fell in the semi-finals. “Unfortunately, the promotion of two of our youths to seniors and the departure of two other players to another team did not allow us to recruit a 15-18 year old team that has just started,” lamented the president.
