Three questions on…

Raphaël Sevaux, president of Périers sports judo.

What is the result of the weather?

Last year, we had 130 licensees. We work with schools that participate in the judo cycle: ten classes from Lessay school, two classes from Périers public school and four from Sainte-Famille school.

Two groups of children participated in the route of champions. In September, we set up a leisure judo course, for people over 50 years old who don’t want to compete. We have eight participants.

How is the club?

We have as many licensees as last year. And the financial results are very positive.

The Coutances Mer et bocage community of communes and the commune of Périers have helped us a lot with their subsidies, and so have our sponsors.

What are your projects?

This year, we are mainly working with schools and will continue to offer an event and a day of judo every holiday period.
