The official description for the first class in the series is:

“Join Kirra in this yin yoga class where we’ll combine real conversations with deep stretching. We’ll open up and create space in the body, mind and with each other.”

The classes are 20 minutes every Tuesday at 6:30 PM ET. You can find the first “Creating Space” class, held on May 7 and taught solo by Kirra, now in the on-demand library.

The remaining three classes in the series will feature special guests Denis Morton, Kirsten Ferguson, and Matty Maggiacomo.

Kirra also shared more about “Creating Space” on her personal Instagram story:

“I’m really honoured and excited to have these three amazing humans as my guests. And we’re just going to be having a conversation about some of the struggles we’ve been through or are currently going through, the tools that help us move through them, and the lessons we’re learning or have learned along the way and how they’re applicable to so many aspects of our lives. Now, it is a yin class so we will be sitting in some uncomfortable postures, but that’s all a part of the process.”

Kirra shared that she was nervous about her first class but that she would “get comfortable in the discomfort.”

Peloton launched the yin yoga class format in early 2023. If you are not familiar with yin yoga, the class collection description reads:

“Go deeper with Yin. You’ll target connective tissue over muscle and hold poses longer than usual. Achieve stillness and stability, while enjoying the meditative, exploratory nature of these classes.”

Kirra joins her fellow instructors who have recently launched new class series, including the “Stronger You” full body strength and HIIT cardio with Ben Alldis, the rebrand of Saturday 60 tread bootcamp to “Sims 60” with Jess Sims, Christine D’Ercole’s “Legendary Climbs” ride series, and Sam Yo’s “Seasonal Recovery” ride series.
