New Era Begins for Coritiba’s Youth

Coritiba Football Club has announced the appointment of Paulo Cesar de Oliveira, affectionately known as PC, as the new coach of their under-20 team. With an extensive and illustrious career spanning both football and futsal, PC brings a wealth of experience to the Alviverde youth setup.

Decades of Experience in the Game

PC’s coaching journey includes stints with Ferroviária-SP and Aimoré-RS in the professional ranks, as well as assistant roles with under-20 teams at São Paulo-SP and Avaí-SC. Most recently, he served as the methodological coordinator of Internacional-RS’s youth categories.

With a License A CBF, PC is also a FIFA and Conmebol instructor, representing Brazil in international futsal coaching courses.

From the Pitch to the Bench: A Hall of Fame Career

Before taking up the clipboard, PC enjoyed a nine-year playing career, representing Coritiba and various other clubs across Brazil, culminating in a call-up to the national team in 1979. His transition to futsal saw him become one of the sport’s most decorated coaches, winning numerous national and international titles with both club and country.
