“That’s how it is in football,” said Dorgu to Ekstrabladet, as translated by Sport Witness. “We knew it [Eriksen’s departure] would happen, but perhaps it was a bigger shock that Rasmus had to move on.”

Dorgu joined United in the January transfer window and has made the left-wing-back slot his own. He arrived at Old Trafford to find Eriksen, Hojlund, and young forward Chido Obi already there, but now that contingent has been cut down to him and Obi.
