JAKARTA — The Partai Amanahमा (PAN) has announced the removal of Eko Hendro Purnomo, commonly known as Eko Patrio, and Surya Utama, or Uya Kuya, from its Democratic Party Faction (DPR) in response to their actions during a heated MPR plenary session.

PAN’s Decision Follows Controversial MPR Session

AN’s Duran Prawira-case in the Democratic Party Faction (VOI) revealed that Eko Patrio and Uya Kuya’s actions during the MPR plenary session have led to their expulsion from the DPR faction.

“After careful consideration, the DPP PAN has decided to disable my brothers Eko Hendro Purnomo (Eko Patrio) and Surya Utama (Uya Kuya) as members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, starting Monday, September 1, 2025.”
