Chelsea is showing a great game at the end of the English Premier League. Especially Cole Palmer. Chelsea defeated Everton 6-0 with the great skill of England’s 21-year-old midfielder. Of which Palmer scored four goals alone. At the same time, Manchester City star Araling Haaland’s golden boot of this season has been threatened.

By scoring four goals against Everton, Palmer made the fight to be the top goalscorer in the league even more crowded. The Chelsea star touched Haaland in that fight with a goal in Everton’s net. Haaland’s off form has put Palmer ahead in the race for the Golden Boot.

Chelsea took the lead early in the match at Stamford Bridge on Monday night. In the thirteenth minute, Palmer scored the first goal with a strong shot in a one-two with Nicholas Jackson. After 5 minutes, the English youngster scored the second goal on the return header after Jackson’s shot was saved by Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Then in the 29th minute, Palmer wrapped the ball over Pickford’s head and scored a perfect hat trick. He scored the fourth goal from the penalty in the 64th minute of the second half. Nicholas Jackson and Alfie Gilchrist scored two goals before and after Palmer’s four goals.

Despite Palmer’s flight, Chelsea remains at the bottom of the points table. The team has 47 points in 31 matches. However, with 47 points, Chelsea has played two games less than West Ham, which is in eighth place. On the other hand, Everton is 16th with 27 points in 32 matches.
