Golf Star Visits Teen Undergoing Rehab

Irish golfing icon Padraig Harrington recently paid a visit to 13-year-old Féile O’Sullivan, who is currently receiving medical care at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire and Crumlin Hospital. Féile is recovering after losing both her legs in an accident last year.

Harrington shared a photo of the visit on social media, describing Féile as very courageous and in great spirits. He also used his platform to highlight ongoing fundraising efforts for her recovery.

‘Stand4Féile’ Campaign Raises Significant Funds

Following the accident, the community in Allihies, West Cork, rallied to support Féile and her family. A GoFundMe campaign became the biggest in Ireland in 2025, raising an impressive €784,000 in just a few months.

While the initial GoFundMe is now closed, the Stand4Féile campaign continues, with organizers aiming to reach a total of €1.3 million to cover Féile’s ongoing medical expenses and rehabilitation needs.

Several fundraising events are planned in the coming weeks, including:

• Golf Classic: A three-day event at Kenmare Golf Club in County Kerry on April 16, 17 and 18, 2026.
• Jersey Day: Schools across Ireland will participate on Friday, March 20, 2026, encouraging students to wear their favorite sports kit for a small donation. Register online here.
