Odder Badminton Club Faces Leadership Void, Calls Emergency Meeting
Odder Badminton is urgently seeking new leadership, with the club currently without a chairman and a fully constituted board. An extraordinary general meeting has been scheduled to address the situation and elect new officials.
Critical Elections Scheduled for March 11th
The meeting will take place on March 11th at 6:30 PM in Spektrum Odder, room 4/Cafeen. The primary focus will be to elect a chairman and additional board members to meet the requirements outlined in the club’s articles of association.
Current Board Situation
Following a recent ordinary general meeting on February 18th, three existing members remained on the board, and two new members were elected, bringing the total to five. Two alternates and an auditor have as well been appointed. However, the club requires one chairman and six board members to function optimally.
Call for Volunteers – Especially Parents
The club is particularly appealing to parents of the growing number of youth players to consider joining the board. New forces are needed on the board to be able to drive the association forward, and with so many new youth players, we very much hope that some of you parents desire to lend a hand and help out on the board, so that we can continue to offer badminton to the badminton-loving children in Odder 😊
