NBA Tonight: Key Matchups, jeune Talents & More

Tonight’s Featured Matchups

Raptors @ Cavs, 1:00 AM EST

The Skinny: Todays’s early games kick off with Toronto facing Cleveland. The Raptors have been surprisingly efficient this season, winning five of their last six matches. The Cavs, on the other hand, will be fresh after resting Mitchell and Mobley, which should make for an engaging watch.

“I make it an obligation to follow almost every meeting where my distant cousin from Georgia, Sandro “Mamu” Mamukelashvili, now with the Raptors, appears. Unfortunately, he is doubtful due to neck pain… But whether he is there or not, the Raptors are quite surprisingly nice to follow and efficient this season.”

Pacers @ Suns, 3:00 AM EST

The Skinny: Indiana is having a tough time without Tyrese Haliburton, and it showed in their recent 152-120 loss to the Jazz. Phoenix, however, is thriving with Jordan Ott as head coach, and Grayson Allen is on fire.

“Given his form, we wouldn’t be surprised if Grayson “Thauvin” Allen made at least 10 3-point baskets in this match, which is always a pretty fascinating spectacle.”

Hawks @ Jazz, 3:00 AM EST

The Skinny: Atlanta will be without Trae Young, offering a sneak peek into their life without their superstar. Keep an eye on Zaccharie Risacher, who deserves more minutes, and Jalen Johnson, who’s always exciting to watch.

“We will continue to observe these Hawks without Trae Young, gently preparing a paper of possible trade destinations for the All-Star point guard, while complaining about the fact that Quin Snyder refuses to give more than 25 minutes per game to Zaccharie Risacher.”
