Muhamet Malo International Wrestling Tournament Brings Italian Athletes to Tirana: Greco-Roman and Freestyle Action Await!

Rome, 22 May 2024 – Everything is ready for the international “Muhamet Malo” men’s free wrestling and Greco-Roman wrestling tournament, which will take place in Tirana on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 of May.

Organized for the senior age class, Italy will bring 22 athletes: Francesco Stopponi (60 kg), Davide Zilio and Emanuele Pollino (63 kg), Steve Momilia and Federico Raccagni (67 kg), Roberto De Marie (72 kg) , Giulio Bellon (87 kg), Luca Svaicari and Riccardo Bufis (97 kg) in Greco Roman; Carmine Caiazza (57 kg), Denny Lubrano and Pasquale Liuzzi (61 kg), Daniele Gubbiotti, Gianluca Coletti and Mattia Bientinesi (70 kg), Luca Fizio (74 kg), Antonio Milone and Gabriele Niccolini (86 kg), Vassilj Guccini and Simone Iannattoni (92 kg), Angelo Aleo (97 kg), Martino Piliero (125 kg) in free.

The technicians Filippo Gargaglia, Fabio Parisi, Emmanuele Rinella, Giovanni Schillaci and Riccardo Niccolini, the team leader Salvatore Finterno and the referee Angela Giuffrida will start with them.

On Saturday, from 10:00 to 20:30, the boys of the Greco-Roman team will compete on the Albanian mats.

On Sunday it’s the freestyle turn, again from 10:00 to 20:30.
