The event, which is held in Casablanca from January 16 to 19 under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, has seen young Moroccan talents shine in both the cadet and junior categories.
On Friday, the cadet team won 24 medals: 6 gold, 12 silver and 6 bronze. The judokas who rose to the top of the podium were Mohamed Taha El Agbani in the -60 kg category, Abderrahmane El Majjani in -66 kg, Safa Cherkaoui in -44 kg, Amina Alaoui Cherifi in -52 kg, Yasmine Hariss in – 70 kg and Jihane Rahma El Mansouri at +70 kg.

The competition has had outstanding international participation, with 304 athletes (186 men and 118 women) representing 34 countries.
