The Castelorian Omnisports Club (COC) has no less than 16 sections: athletics, yoga, badminton, basketball, cycling, climbing, football, karate, swimming, tennis, pétanque, archery, volleyball, mountain biking, artistic gym, voluntary gym.

Stéphane Marandeau heads the club and solicits grants while guiding members and sections. This not only contributes to the development of the club, but also fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and support among all.

He says: “ This collaboration allows members to share resources, experiences and knowledge. It also promotes a sense of community and belonging, which is important in a gaming environment ».

The president continued: ” The club is growing, we will exceed 1,600 members, this is a record “. He said: “ The sports school allows newcomers to choose a sport. Instructor Quentin Lenoir, present in many sections, helps members feel supported and encouraged. ».

Stéphane Marandeau added: “ It is difficult to increase the number of sections due to the lack of structures and management. It is important to maintain the good quality of existing ones before considering expansion ».

A regret: ” Three years ago, there was a COC supporters section. He plays an important role in helping different sections in their activities and events. ».
