Former Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu may return to the Kiev club as general director.

This was reported by the Romanian publication GSP.

According to the source, the 78-year-old specialist has already received an offer and is seriously considering it. Rapid Bucharest is also interested in Lucescu’s services, offering him a job as a coach. However, GSP clarifies that given the option with Dynamo, Rapid’s chances of success are not great.

Note that Lucescu led the “white-blues” from July 2020 to November 2023. In his debut season, the coach won the championship title, the Cup and the Super Cup of Ukraine.

We previously reported that Lucescu attended a training session of the Kiev team. Also, the Romanian was present at the match Dynamo – Polesie (3:0) in the UPL.
