Chris Paddack blanked the opponent for six innings and the Minnesota Twins won their 11th straight game, winning 5-2 against the Boston Red Sox on Friday.

The Twins also had 11-win streaks in 2003 and 2006, the third longest in their history. Their record was 15 straight wins in 1991, the season in which they won their last World Series title. They won 12 games in a row in 1980.

Édouard Julien hit a one-run single after two outs in the third inning, giving Paddack the lead (3-1). The right-handed gunner took care of the rest, limiting the Red Sox batters to two hits and a walk.

Red Sox starter Tanner Houck (3-3) worked at least six innings for the seventh time this season. However, he was chased off the mound after facing three batters in the seventh inning, when the Twins scored four runs.

Julien drew a walk with the bases loaded on a time violation to throw against Naoyuki Uwasawa. Ryan Jeffers then hit a two-run double.
