Minister Glushkov discussed with representatives of the European Shooting Sports Confederation Bulgaria’s candidacy for the continental championship in 2026 in Burgas
The desire of the home headquarters to organize the forum was announced in March, during the meeting of the European sports shooting in Gyor. The other candidate that submitted an application is Yerevan (Armenia). Georgi Glushkov emphasized that the MMC supports the holding of large sports forums in our country. According to him, the prestigious households contribute to the development and popularization of the sport among young athletes, who receive motivation to pursue their goals. “In recent years, Bulgaria has hosted many competitions of the highest rank and established itself as an excellent organizer. I am sure that the Bulgarian Shooting Union and Burgas will do excellently as hosts of the European Championship,” said Minister Glushkov.
