Saturday, December 14, the Rodez departmental dojo hosted the Departmental Challenge, bringing together the chick and junior categories and the junior departmental championship. The young judokas from Millau stood out for their commitment and combativeness throughout the day.
The youngest children open the competition. Pierre Jammes achieved a great performance and reached the second step of the podium after intense fights. Tom Ricarddespite an exemplary commitment, failed to win a medal. For his first competition, Clemence Menand was very combative and finished first in her category. Emma Bardy fought hard, but unfortunately did not manage to get on the podium.
The competition continued with the juniors, where the young Millavois also distinguished themselves. For his first participation, Maya was not unworthy and finished 2nd in his category. Lizzy Garvi et Justine Roustan shone: Lizzy wins first place and Justine second place, thus becoming departmental champion and vice-champion in the – 48 kg category. Maicky Xavier fought with determination and took 2nd place. Abdullah Baikadjev showed great commitment and took the second step of the podium. Mathias Connes climbs into the higher category despite this he performs seriously and finishes second in his category. For his second competition, Sowan Pouderoux showed good progress and finished 3rd.
