Diogenes Theater: Thriving with Vibrant Performances
The Diogenes Theater has been treating its audience to captivating performances. From September to December 2025, around 40 shows were played in front of over 4,000 visitors, with a capacity utilization rate of 82 percent. The new year is already off to a record-breaking start, with all performances of “The Metamorphosis” and January’s guest shows sold out.
René Wuffli, president of the Diogenes Theater Association, reported encouraging figures and expressed satisfaction with the higher spectator numbers compared to pre-Corona years. He emphasizes the importance of booking unknown artists, whom he highly recommends.
