In the end, the home club is the winner of the seventh edition of the under 13 basketball tournamentdedicated to the unforgettable coach from Grosseto. A fully successful tournament with the patronage of the FIP, the Municipality of Grosseto and the generosity of the volunteers who made these two days of basketball possible in which PalAustria, the teams from Calcinaia, Don Bosco Livorno and Costone Siena participated. Kicking things off on Saturday were the victories (90-43) of the home boys against Don Bosco (90-43) and of Calcinaia over Costone Siena (59-55). The day opened on Sunday with a very tight morning match between Pallacanestro Grosseto and Calcinaia which only emerged in the last quarter with the victory of coach Busonero’s boys 66-63. Closing the morning was Costone Siena-Don Bosco Livorno, with the Sienese coming out on top. Then Calcinaia beat the Livorno team 80-52 and, in the last match, the Grosseto team won against Costone Siena 57-27. Best player of the tournament Giacomo Mittica from Pallacanestro Grosseto and best scorer Riley Jaxon Murru from Calcinaia.
