San Luis Potosí DIF Hosts Series of Women’s Sporting Events

The Municipal Sports Directorate of the San Luis Potosí City Council, working with the DIF Municipal
, recently hosted a massive yoga class in Aranzazú Square as part of International Women’s Day (8M) celebrations. The event, which took place at 8:00 a.m., aimed to promote physical and emotional well-being
among women in the community.
Yoga Class Highlights Commitment to Women’s Health
Estela Arriaga Márquez, President of the Municipal DIF
, emphasized the importance of creating spaces that prioritize women’s health. The yoga session was supported by Temploo, a company specializing in yoga equipment.
Instructors Juana María Saucedo Segura, Martha Rocío González Gómez, and María del Socorro Sierra Gallegos led the attendees through various routines. Following the class, Arriaga Márquez and Luis Fernando Alonso Molina, owner of the Municipal Sports Directorate, presented recognition to the instructors.

This yoga class is just one of four planned sporting and recreational events for March. The schedule includes:
- March 12: Session in front of Peace Theater at 8:00 a.m.
- March 19: Massive Latin rhythms class in Founders Square at 6:00 p.m.
- March 24: Functional training class in Founders Square.
