An overwhelming 94.6% of supporters concur that player acquisitions are now in far more capable hands.
Key issues that had long plagued the club have been addressed with a level of competency that was sorely missed during the turbulent reign of Ed Woodward, compounded by Richard Arnold and John Murtough’s erratic strategies. The objective has been to sidestep the infamous ‘United tax’ in player signings, and by and large, that mission has succeeded.
To invigorate a struggling attack, the signing of Joshua Zirkzee has been pivotal. Although his debut was marked by a dreamlike moment—coming off the bench to net the winner on opening day—his subsequent performance against Liverpool served as a harsh reminder of the challenges ahead, highlighted by a series of missed chances in a disheartening 3-0 defeat.

It’s noted that the timing of the survey aligns with a disheartening defeat against Liverpool, suggesting a period of low morale for the supporters. However, a glimmer of hope lingers, as 38.4% of fans cling to the belief that this season could outperform last season’s dismal eighth-place finish in the Premier League. Fingers crossed.
