Malaga to Host Three-Week Basketball Spectacle with 16 Teams Battling for Glory
Málaga, Spain – The Provincial Council of Malaga has unveiled the V edition of the Basketball Super Cup, set to take center stage from September 12 to 28. With 16 teams from the N1 League and Third Division Feb League competing across eight municipalities, this year’s event promises an electrifying showdown.
N1 League Showdown
The prestigious N1 League will witness teams battling it out in both male and female categories.
Female N1 League: League to a Match
“The two best teams of the four participants will be classified,” reads the official announcement
. Unicaja, CB El Palo Basket4Life, CB Salliver Fuengirola Hotel Higuerón, and Torino Málaga Basket will clash in a fierce competition.
- Matches: September 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21
- Venues: Juan Gómez ‘Juanito’ pavilions (Fuengirola), Málaga’s Martín Carpena Arena, Training Center the Higuerón (Fuengirola), José Mª Martín Urbano de Málaga, and Javier Imbroda Sports City
- Final: Sunday, September 28 (venue yet to be determined)
Male N1 League: Group Stages and Finals
In a thrilling group-stage format, “the best team of each group will be classified for the final,” reports the Council
. Eager participants include CB El Palo Basket4Life, Invertmonea CB Alhaurín de la Torre, Torino Málaga Basket, EBG Malaga, CB Benalmádena, Torre Basket Club, Unicaja, and CB Benahavís Costa del Sol.
- Matches: September 12, 14, 17, 18, 20, 21, and 24
- Venues: Javier Imbroda Sports City, La Mosca, José María Martín Urbano Pavilion, El Limón, master pavilion Master Salvador Sánchez, and Benahavís municipal pavilion

Third Division Feb League: Fur Four Finale
In a gripping Fur Four format, four teams will clash in the Carlos Cabezas de Marbella pavilion.
- Teams: El Pinar College, Ochoa CB Marbella Hospital, CB Salliver Fuengirola Hotel Higuerón, and CB Novaschool Rincón de la Victoria
- Semifinals: September 13, 6:30 PM
- Final: September 13, 7:00 PM
