Loubna Benaïssa, a young Moroccan, lived with her family in Brussels until the day of her kidnapping, rape and death by a certain Patrick Derochette.
This case was the subject of initial investigative work by the parliamentary commission of inquiry responsible for examining the way in which the investigation, in its police and judicial aspects, was carried out in “the Dutroux, Nihoul and others affair” and to find the explanation for its repeated failures.
It is on the basis of the hearings of witnesses (police officers, magistrates) made public, that this work was produced and enhanced with a section devoted to misdeeds committed against children and adolescents with the complicity of magistrates.
