Just over six kilometres long, the track is very complete, with demanding braking sections, 90-degree corners and chicanes that particularly highlight the skills of the drivers. The straight section that goes from Turn 16 to 1 is over two kilometres long and is usually the scene of the most important racing action, with the drivers slipstreaming each other at over 320 km/h. From Turn 4 to 12, on the other hand, a driving style that is more reminiscent of a traditional street circuit is required, with barriers to be touched and right-angle corners, including the left-hander under the famous ancient tower where only one car can pass at a time.
