Badminton Club Lieshout Gears Up for Annual Meeting, Highlights Financial Stability and Community Involvement
LIESHOUT – Badminton Club Lieshout will hold its annual General Members Meeting (ALV) on Friday, March 6. During this meeting, the board will be open about matters: through a retrospective they will share the policy and also discuss the financial position of the association. As with many associations, finances play a major role in the right to exist. Fortunately, the members are happy to help with this.
Financial Health and Member Support
The club’s annual meeting will provide a comprehensive overview of the association’s financial standing. Beyond membership contributions, the club actively pursues various fundraising initiatives to maintain a stable income. This commitment to financial responsibility ensures the club’s continued operation and ability to support its activities.
Community Spirit on Display
Badminton Club Lieshout’s commitment extends beyond the court. Members recently volunteered their time to manage the cloakroom at the Raopershuys during the carnival celebrations.
“In a kind of shift work, all coats were neatly collected, hung up and handed out to the owners afterwards. In return, there was a compact contribution of €1.00 per jacket for the club treasury.”

The club expressed gratitude to the Raopershuys organization for the opportunity and acknowledged the dedication of the member volunteers.

The club also recently recognized Hans van den Einden as its “Volunteer of the Year” at its annual New Year’s reception, acknowledging his contributions to the club’s diverse activities.
Looking Ahead
The upcoming ALV will cover a range of topics, including reports from the secretary, competition organizers, youth programs, website administrators, and the editorial team of the club’s bimonthly magazine, ‘De Kijk Op…’.
