IT Home reported on September 19 that Lenovo released a video on its official Youtube channel on September 11, showing that its Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition notebook equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) processor has amazing battery life, even surpassing Apple’s M2 and M3 MacBooks.
Tom’s Hardware pointed out that Lenovo seems to have violated the confidentiality agreement and announced the battery life data of this Yoga notebook equipped with Core Ultra Ultra 7 258V (Lunar Lake) processor in advance. The video shows that the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition has a battery life of up to 24 hours when playing 1080p H.264 video, indicating that the Lunar Lake processor has excellent energy efficiency.

Lenovo also provided a battery life comparison with Apple’s MacBook notebooks (equipped with M2 and M3 chips).The Yoga Slim 7i lasts more than 5 hours longer than both MacBooks.(The M3 MacBook lasts 18 hours and 32 minutes, and the M2 MacBook lasts 18 hours and 19 minutes).

Intel has said that Lunar Lake processors will offer better battery life than competing ARM-based laptops, and Lenovo’s test results seem to confirm this.
