Latina Municipality Offers Sports Grants & Vouchers to Boost Youth Activity

Latina, Italy – The Municipality of Latina is launching a latest initiative to encourage youth participation in sports, offering both contributions for sports equipment purchases and vouchers for sporting activities. The program is designed to make sports more accessible to young people aged 14-35 within the municipality.

Eligibility and Funding Details

To qualify for the program, applicants must be residents of Latina between the ages of 14 and 35 and belong to families with an ISEE income of less than 15,000 euros. The program also extends to young people with physical or psychological disabilities.

A total of 33,000 euros has been allocated to the initiative, funded by the Youth Policy Fund intended for Municipalities where the Olympic Flame starts. This funding will be distributed between participating sports associations and individual athlete vouchers.

The main objective of the initiative is to concretely encourage the practice of physical activity among our young people and promote the culture of prevention, well-being and a healthy and active lifestyle.

Voucher Information

The Municipality of Latina will provide 66 vouchers, each worth 500 euros. These vouchers can be used at a single association for a single sporting discipline. A wide range of sports are covered, including tennis, martial arts, swimming, rugby, dance, and inclusive activities for individuals with disabilities.
