Laon to Welcome New Leisure Destination

The former Laon tennis club is undergoing a complete transformation, set to become a new leisure complex by the end of 2027. A key feature of the complex will be an electric karting track.

Work commenced on March 11, 2026, with asbestos removal being carried out by Paul Position, a company managed by Alexandre Marron, and Franck and Séverine Jouin. This trio of Laon residents are driving the ambitious project.

K1 Speed E-World Championship Opportunities

While not directly related to the Laon complex, K1 Speed is hosting the E-World Championship in 2026 and 2027. The 2026 E-National Championships will be held on May 2nd and 3rd at K1 Circuit Winchester, California, with race fees varying from $69.99 to $109.99 depending on age group.

The top three finishers from each class of the E-National Championship will compete in the E-World Championship, representing the United States. Winners in the Junior and Teen categories will receive a Segway GoKart Pro 2.
