All available resources have now been gathered. With players from the Samsung Lions and KIA Tigers, who played in the Korean Professional Baseball Series, joining, the Korean baseball team will play an evaluation match against Cuba and finalize its roster.
Korea will play two friendly matches against Cuba at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on November 1st and 2nd. On the 30th, Samsung and KIA players joined, increasing the number of players training to 35. Samsung’s pitcher Won Tae-in, offensive core Koo Ja-wook, and LG Twins’ left-handed pitcher Son Ju-young were out due to injuries. Side arm Lee Kang-jun (executive director), who throws a fast ball, also withdrew due to elbow pain.
