Champions Crowned in Nanyuki
Wilkie Keragori and Naomi Wandili emerged victorious at the inaugural Boom and Thrive CSR Badminton Tournament held in Nanyuki last weekend, winning the men’s and women’s singles titles, respectively. Both athletes were also recognized as the Most Valuable Players in their respective categories.
URF Shuttlers Take Team Championship
The tournament saw fierce competition from teams including Nanyuki Ironclads, URF Shuttlers, MYSA Thunderbolts, Thika Club, Raptors, Falcons and Thunders. In the team event, URF Shuttlers from Nairobi secured the overall title after a dominant performance. Thika Club finished second, claiming the silver medal, while MYSA Thunderbolts of Nairobi rounded out the podium with a third-place finish.
