This time, I was excited from the moment I heard about the collaboration with AKTR, who I’ve been working with for a long time, but I was even more excited when I heard that the featured partner would be ISSEI, who I’ve been working with at events for a long time.
As for the production, ISSEI was based in Osaka and I was based in Shonan, so I didn’t have a full-on session and proceeded online in a more modern style, but I think I was able to create a good work without any problems at all. I wonder if there was something that came out because we had known each other for a long time that couldn’t be created when we met for the first time.
As for the song, it’s a humorous joke that combines travel, which is a violation of basketball, and travel, but both travels are interpreted as “taking a step without fear of making a mistake,” and the pitch is chilly, but it’s pretty good. I think it’s a song that gives you power.

I have produced two songs with AKTR, “CHOOSE YOURSELF” with Rhyme Association and “PARK” with PUSHIM, and this third song is also the best song.
AKTR’s sincere and humorous policy toward “sports” and “fun” has continued to be expressed through beats, lyrics, and video director, but this time we will introduce a chill and mellow song.
We aimed to create a comfortable ear that fits the compatibility between sports and coffee, which AKTR has been presenting since opening SPORTY COFFE.
I met Kenny at a live performance and immediately felt comfortable with him and was able to link up with him. Another big point was that I was able to create this song because of my connection with him. By combining the HIPHOP and black music vibes that I have cultivated, Kenny’s singing voice and guitar, and the Shonan lifestyle, it became a song that is suitable not only for traveling, but also for various scenery and situations.
