Bees Boss Commits to Long-Term Project
Brentford Football Club has solidified its future direction by awarding Head Coach Keith Andrews a fresh contract that runs through the summer of 2032. The announcement comes after a remarkably successful first season at the helm for Andrews, who took over from Thomas Frank in June 2025.
Impressive Start to Tenure
Under Andrews’ guidance, Brentford currently sits seventh in the Premier League, a position that puts the club in contention for European qualification – a historic achievement for the Bees. The team has also advanced to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals and the FA Cup fifth round.
Brentford director of football Phil Giles expressed his satisfaction with Andrews’ performance, stating, Given our progress this season, I’m really happy that we have agreed this extension within the first nine months.
Giles further highlighted Andrews’ ability to bring the best out of both players and staff alike.

Andrews’ appointment followed the departure of Thomas Frank to Tottenham Hotspur.
A Distinguished Playing Career
The 45-year-old Andrews brings a wealth of experience to the role, having enjoyed a 16-year playing career as a defensive midfielder. He represented clubs including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Hull City, Milton Keynes Dons, and Blackburn Rovers.
Andrews on Taking the Reins
“Naturally, I think there would have been a slight concern – if I were living in Dublin looking at Thomas Frank leaving and the set-piece coach taking over, I probably would have been a little bit worried too! So, I really understood it,”
