The video of Kate warmly greeting Federer on the court quickly went viral. They engaged in friendly banter and later played a match against each other.
“Shall we play some tennis?” Federer suggested, and Middleton enthusiastically agreed.

Kate had the chance to meet Mollie, a ball boy who demonstrated proper touchline positioning and the technique of returning a tennis ball to a player with a straight arm.
Princess Kate and Federer then had a conversation with the coaches and joined the teenagers in training at the renowned Wimbledon facilities.
