There is a black and white team that plays in level 3 of the FIGC paralympic and experimental championship, is regional champion and is now preparing for the national finals. But it is only the tip of the iceberg of a project that, by teaching football, also teaches life

It was born as “Juventus for Special”, it develops on the pitch between training sessions and matches: you play to win like all the other teams in the club. The project in Juventus Turin has existed for seven years, involves women and men of the club as in other sporting sectors and aims to include people with cognitive, relational and partly sensorial disabilities through play. The basic principle is that disability is not a limitation, but a normal human condition. Hence the development of homogeneous teams – divided based on the degree of disability into three categories: the Fourth, the Fifth and the Sixth. And the satisfactions, on the field, certainly arrive: Juventus C1, which plays in level 3 of the FIGC paralympic and experimental championship, has reconfirmed itself as queen of the Piedmont and Valle D’Aosta regional championship and is ready to defend the Italian title in the national finals of Tirrenia, which will be held on May 17th.
