Unyielding Spirit in the Face of Adversity

Kansy admits that the moments spent off the mat were as challenging as fighting, as excitement and anticipation built with each bout. “I let too much time slip away in my first fight, and I made unnecessary mistakes in the semi-finals,” he confessed. However, his resilient spirit shone through in the bronze medal bout against Belgium’s world champion Matthias Casse.
