JESI, August 26, 2024 – The athlete from Jesi Bitri Klajdi will be present at the 2024 Balkan Championships in Sarajevo next Saturday, August 31st.

Member of the local club Judo Samurai JesiBitri Klajdi has passed the various international qualification tournaments and will now participate in the Balkan Championships Finals scheduled in Sarajevo next Saturday, August 31st, where he will compete with athletes from the Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Romania and Kosovo.
In total one hundred participants which are divided into weight categories from 60 to 66 (category of the athlete from Jesi) and up to +100, the maximum weight category, they will compete in the first major international trophy after the Paris Olympics.
It’s the first time for a Jesi judo athlete in an international context so prestigious and beyond the result, managing to get there was a great sporting achievement.
Bitri Klajdi is not only a great competitor, but she is also one of the technicians of the youth sector of Judo Samurai, and teaches the discipline to the little ones at the Judo Gym at the Palasport in Jesi.
