When Director Jang took office, the team consisted of only six players and had lost all of their competitions. He implemented a rigorous training regimen focused on fundamental skills, lasting over three hours daily, with emphasis on defensive rotation, assist defense, and rebounding.
International Success and Key Players
The team’s dedication led to visible improvements, including a reduction in points conceded and faster breaks. In 2024, Jeju Dong Middle School achieved eight wins and reached the national competition finals three times. Last year, they advanced to the King of Kings for the first time.
