Boston. Jayson Tatum scored 30 points and the Boston Celtics beat the Orlando Magic 121-94 last night. Tatum was 12 of 21 from the field to help Boston snap out of a recent shooting slump.
Boston shot a season-high 61 percent from the field in the first half and took a 12-point lead into halftime. The Celtics shot 53 percent and led by 27 in the second half. Kristaps Porzingis finished with 23 points, while Jaylen Brown added 20.
On the other hand, the Denver Nuggets, with a triple double by Nikola Jokic, beat the Miami Heat 133-113, which featured Mexican Jaime Jáquez Jr. and the return of Jimmy Butler after serving his seven-game suspension.
The Heat themselves applied this punishment to their star on January 3, alleging a “harmful conduct” of Butler, who had publicly requested his departure from the franchise.
